Life has a way of inviting us into moments of profound uncertainty, where the familiar gives way to the unknown, and fear brushes against the edges of our hearts. But it’s in those very moments that we are offered the opportunity to meet life with awareness, understanding, and intentional grace.

Over these past weeks, I’ve found myself in such a space — navigating illness, multiple hospital visits, and the slow, deliberate journey of healing. There’s a delicate vulnerability that comes with facing the unknown, and yet, within that vulnerability lies the chance to deepen our connection with ourselves, to breathe into the fear, and to allow it to soften in the light of compassion. The final stretch of healing always feels like the slowest — like watching the last stars fade into the morning sky. But I am grateful for every step forward and filled with optimism as I move closer to wholeness, doing what I love, teaching yoga in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
A New Adventure Begins
On Monday, I began a new adventure, leaving behind the familiar woods for a fresh horizon. It’s a moment filled with excitement — a new home, a new town, and new paths to walk. Moses, with his boundless joy and wide-eyed wonder, is already anticipating the open fields, the smells, and the unknown discoveries waiting for us there. We move forward with hearts open, ready to embrace whatever this new chapter holds.
Through all of this, there have been difficult choices — letting go of commitments that mean the world to me. It’s never easy to cancel plans or retreat from obligations, especially when those plans involve community and connection. But in listening to my body and honoring my healing, I know these decisions were necessary for my health and for the journey ahead. It’s a humbling reminder that sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is allow ourselves the space to rest and renew.
