About Us
The Grateful Yoga in Landisville, PA
Led by founder Jesse Cassady, The Grateful Yoga philosophy is rooted deeply in love, compassion, community, and perpetual growth. Having worked with children and adults on the spectrum, survivors of various traumas, and a vast landscape of beautiful students of all genders, races, ethnicities, and creeds for more than 25 years, The Grateful Yoga teaches an all-inclusive, all-levels practice of mindfulness, from the home, the studio, the workplace, and retreat destinations around the world.
Our philosophy surrounding mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, and yoga has been shaped through decades of study, practice, and continual learning. While the studio’s roots are deeply connected to Jesse’s lifelong pursuit of knowledge and experience through dozens of teacher trainings and apprenticeships spanning more than 30 years, the heart of the practice has always been centered around growth, curiosity, and connection.
Though The Grateful Yoga honors the many personal experiences and backgrounds that shape its community, much of the studio’s teaching philosophy is grounded in traditional Yogic practices and Zen Buddhist principles. The studio proudly recognizes influential teachers such as Jonny Kest, Swami Satchidananda, David Williams, and many others whose guidance and teachings helped inspire the path forward.
Built around movement, mindfulness, and meaningful human connection, The Grateful Yoga continues to create spaces where students can explore more than just physical practice. From yoga classes in Lancaster, PA, to workshops, retreats, and yoga teacher training programs held around the country, the intention has always been to encourage self-study, emotional awareness, and personal growth both on and off the mat.
At its core, The Grateful Yoga believes the physical side of yoga is only one piece of a much larger practice. Through lectures, trainings, dharma talks, workshops, and community experiences, the studio continues to embrace the idea that yoga extends far beyond poses and movement, becoming something that can positively shape everyday life.
